John Robert Evans

John Robert Evans passed away October 18, 2023 at the age of 85. John was born on August 28, 1938 in the vicinity of the Corinth community to Robert Lee and Martha Ethel Moore Evans. The family soon moved to the Belfast community where John grew up and rode bus #11 to Sheridan School where he graduated. After retiring from Ben Pearson in Pine Bluff; John kept busy reading meters for First Electric and transporting workers for Rock Island Railroads. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.

John was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Mary (Granny) Evans, and brother Charles Vernon Evans.

John leaves behind his friends and caregivers, Charlie and Charlotte Catchout, neighbors and friends.
