John Burl Barnett, III

John Burl Barnett, III, was born on September 6, 1957, in Memphis, TN to the late John Burl Barnett, Jr. and Maryellen Henderson Barnett. He passed from this life on May 28, 2023, at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Mr. Barnett served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Cape Canaveral. He was a self employed OSP Engineer and traveled to many states working with telecommunications.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three aunts, Mildred Louise Young, Mae Janette Young, and Jimmye Inez Brotbeck; two uncles; Billy Kenneth Barnett and Billy Joe Henderson.

He is survived by his soulmate of 16 years, Stephanie Romaine Cedars, his daughters, Natalie Truelove (Keith), and Madison Romaine Cedars, his son, Justin Burl Barnett (Tasha), his brothers, Gregory Wade Barnett (Margaret), Billy Don Barnett (Amy Jo) , five grandchildren, Abby Jo Barnett, Camy Jo Barnett, Kaleb Donald Truelove, Brecken Macoy Cedars, Brexleigh Wren Cedars, his nephew, William John Barnett, his nieces, Megan Cook and Mia McLain.

Visitation will be Friday, June 2, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Happy Hollow Baptist Church, 471 Highway 36, Vilonia, AR 72173. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Happy Hollow Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Cypress Valley Cemetery.
