Jimmy Morgan Threlkeld

Jimmy Morgan Threlkeld, age 70 of Rison, formerly of Warren, died, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Green House Cottages of Southern Hills in Rison. He was born November 1, 1941 in Rison, a son of the late Jimmy Earl Threlkeld and Dovie Janette Simmons Threlkeld Pruitt. Mr. Threlkeld was self employed, having worked in the scrap metal business. He was of the Assembly of God faith, and enjoyed singing. Mr. Threlkeld was also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Ann Bussell. Mr. Threlkeld is survived by one brother, Clinton Threlkeld of Warren; two sisters, Evelyn Mosley of Monticello, Gladys Smith of Warren. Funeral services are 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to service. Pallbearers are Dale Wolf, Doyle Gill, James Tillman, Jerry Burks, James Wright and Bill Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy Smith, Lawrence Smith, Randy Smith, Michael Smith, Wilmer Mosley, Cecil Mosley Jr., Danny Mosley, Paul Mosley, and Joe Mosley.
