Jimmy Dale Funderburg, 77, of Pine Bluff, passed away May 26, 2021. He was born December 8, 1943 in Pine Bluff, AR to the late Marion and Lucille Lawrence Funderburg. Jimmy was a retired coast to coast 18 wheeler truck driver and enjoyed spending his free time listening to gospel music, hunting, fishing and being with family, friends and his beloved dog Bubbie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Broyles and brothers, Richard and Ronny Funderburg, and his first wife Kathleen Taylor Funderburg.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Cynthia Dobbson Funderburg, children, Sylvia Scanlan (Larry), Leslie Funderburg, both of Joplin, MO, and Misty Capel of Springfield, MO, grandchildren, David Tate, Jr. (Tina), Amanda Watkins (Dustin), Nicole Scanlan, Blinda Joyner, Amber Ramano, and Chloe Capel, great grandchildren, Jake Cale (Ashley), Matt Taylor (Paige), Kamryn Canoy, Sapheria Ramano, Jason Tate, Dusty Tate, Jessica Bravo, and Stephania Bravo, Sisters are: Shirley Worthen and Mildred Brashears of Pine Bluff, AR, and Betty Welch, Martha Moltz, and Kathy Reichenbach all of Sheridan, AR.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church 6172 Hwy 190, White Hall, AR.
