Jimmy Dan Beeson

Jimmy Dan Beeson, age 64, of Leola died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at his home. He was born November 29, 1944 in El Dorado, Arkansas, the son of the late Radford and Margaret Harrison Beeson. Mr. Beeson graduated from White Hall High School in 1962 and attended the University of Arkansas for three years. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. On February 14, 1976, Mr. Beeson married Barbara Davis in Little Rock. He was a member of Leola United Methodist Church and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association; president of Ten Bears Hunting Club. Mr. Beeson was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed flying, hunting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Beeson; son, Ray Daniel Beeson; daughter, Elainea Teres Beeson, all of Leola.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Leola United Methodist Church with Reverend Roger Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Leola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Pallbearers are: Sam Talbert, James Talbert, Joey Finley, Harold Malone, George L. Luzader, John Good, and Wade Pemberton. In Lieu of flowers, family requests memorials may be made to Arkansas Wildlife Federation, 9700 Rodney Parham Rd. Little Rock, Arkansas 72227.
