Dr. Jerry Singleton passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018 at his home in Mount Vernon, Arkansas at the age of 75. Jerry was born on December 21, 1942 in McComb, Mississippi to Frank and Marguerite (Kenna) Singleton. He graduated from Auburn University and earned his doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine. In addition to his working life, he enjoyed riding and showing his cutting horses, and raising longhorn cattle. Jerry is survived by his wife of 29 years, Alice Singleton of the home; sons, John Cain Singleton (Karyn) of Conway; David Hicks of Mount Vernon; one brother, Larry Singleton (Barbara) of Jackson, Mississippi; one sister, Diane Hamilton (Ernie) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and one grandchild, Chaysey Singleton. He is preceded in death by his parents. The family will have a celebration of his life at Crossroads Cowboy Church 3701 Hwy. 5 El Paso, Arkansas 72045 on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Jeremy Cox and Bro. Ron Riddle officiating.
