White Hall

Jerry Wayne Prescott, age 59, of White Hall passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.  He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on December 30, 1959, to Joseph Washington and Pebble Dial Prescott.  He was a 1981 graduate of Watson Chapel High School.  During his employment years, he worked for various lumber companies where he made many friends.  Jerry enjoyed working in the yard and cooking for his family.  His favorite hobby was woodworking.  He built shelves, potato boxes and a cedar chest for his wife.  Jerry was a devoted husband and loving father.  Anyone that knew him, knew how proud he was of his girls. They were his favorite topic of conversation. He would tell every one of their many accomplishments.  Jerry was also a huge Elvis fan.  He collected albums, stamps and magazines that all pertained to Elvis.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Davis and Marilyn Prescott

Jerry is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Deborah Prescott; two daughters, Rachel and Kylee Prescott; niece, Amanda (Craig) Weston; his best friend of many years, Ray Stewart and a host of other extended family members.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with a visitation prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Brother Michael Hayslip will be the officiant.
