Jerry Dwight Kimbrell

Jerry Dwight Kimbrell, age 78, of Woodlawn went to be with his Lord on December 12, 2023. He was born March 10, 1945 in Pine Bluff to the late Monroe and Pearl Kimbrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Barbara Tyra, Joye Hankins, and JoAnn Wingard. He was a retired mill wright and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and his dog Cooper.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sherry Parrish Kimbrell, daughters Sharon Renea Stobb (Chuck), Stacey Annette Tankersley (Ricky), siblings Elnora Talent, Bertie Pickles, Dina Hankins and Judy Johnson, grandchildren, Richard Alan Stobb, William Thomas Stobb, Channin Lee Tankersley (Jessica), and Cody Dewayne Tankersley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023, at New Home Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
