Jerry Paul Johnson

Jerry Paul Johnson, age 68, of Crossett, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 12, 2015. He was born December 24, 1946 in Malvern, a son of the late Paul Patrick Johnson and Buris Williams Auldridge. For many years, Mr. Johnson used his abilities to perform various tasks with the Easter Seals. Jigsaw puzzles, reading books, and eating his favorite foods with family and friends was very precious to him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Dean Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Patti Jane Carter and husband, John David of Crossett, Paula Higdon and husband, Michael of Benton; one brother, Danny Johnson and wife, Patty of Benton, sister-in-law, Sue Johnson of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2015 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Brother Don Goodman officiating. Pallbearers are his nephews.
