Jerry Doss

Jerry Doss age 64 of the Herbine Community near Rison, died Friday, December 10, 2010. He was born January 13, 1946 in Cleveland County, a son of the late Elzie Doss and Alma Terry Doss. Mr. Doss worked in the electrical field as a motor winder.

Mr. Doss is survived by his companion of over thirty years, Wanda Doss; children, Larry R. and KayLynne Doss of Jonesboro, Angie Hopper of Crossett; two brothers, Bobby Doss of Midland, Texas and David Doss of Rison; five sisters, Syble Harrison of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Evelyn Jones, Maxine Harmon and Gala Carter all of Lubbock, Texas, Judy Vinson of Herbine; one half brother, J. T. Rauls of Odessa, Texas; two half sisters, Geraldine Tiner of Odessa, Texas, Bernice Brown of Warren; and grandchildren.

Graveside services are at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at Prosperity Cemetery with Brother Wade Peddy officiating. Visitation is 11:00 a.m to 12:00 noon, prior to service time at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Malcom Lee, Mike Pippen, Ricky Hopper, Randy Jones, Jerry Jones and Cigar Jones.
