Jerald Franklin Norton, Jr., 66, of Bentonville passed away at home, August 31, 2021. He was born January 24, 1955 in Pine Bluff to the late Jerald Franklin Norton and Betty Campbell Norton. He graduated from Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff and from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
He was a Professional Civil Engineer and had worked for Tri-State Engineering and Olsson in Joplin, Missouri for the past 25 years. He was a faithful member of 45 years with Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, serving as deacon, treasurer, music director and youth worker. He also was serving as treasurer of the Fayetteville Baptist Association. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Bill, Bob and Mike Norton and by his aunt Carolyn Norton.
Survivors include his brother, Richard Earl Norton of Pine Bluff, and aunts, Marie Norton of Bridge City, Texas and Melda Norton of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by a cousin Donna Lotia of Fresno, California.
He was a very good son, brother and friend. He would do anything to help anyone.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens near Pine Bluff with Bro. Norman Ross officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
