Jenny Collins

Jenny Collins, age 38, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was born March 3, 1977 in Shreveport, Louisiana, a daughter of Brenda Vines Owen and the late James William Buckalew. Jenny graduated from Star City High School and was a Christian. She loved and cherished her boys and family time. Jenny was preceded in death by an infant daughter; father, James William Buckalew; step-father, James Allen Owen; grandparents, James Edward Vines, Doreen Vines and Ruth Buckalew.

Survivors include her husband, Marshall Collins of Searcy, whom she married August 11, 2003; three sons, Seth Collins, Jacob Collins and Robert Collins, all of Searcy; mother, Brenda Owen of Star City; mother-in-law, Lynette Neimeyer of Searcy; father-in-law, Artie Collins, Sr. of Searcy; brothers, Dustin Owen of Star City, Joe of Louisiana; sisters, Lorri Sloate of Gillett, Ashley Jackson of Hampton, Maranda Owen and Candace Owen, both of Star City, Carrie of Louisiana and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home chapel in Rison with Brother Richard Cooley officiating. Interment will follow in Moore's Church Cemetery in Rison. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jimmy Dixon, Colton Dixon, Chris Fulcher, Tony Harris, Jerry Brown and Artie Collins. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
