Jean Louise Reynolds

Jean Louise Esi Michon Reynolds, age 89, of Prattsville, passed away Monday, December 8, 2008. She was born January 7, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Primo and Seconda Lucchesini Esi. The daughter of Italian immigrants, Jean grew up in the Chicago area where she held numerous jobs, including switchboard operator for Lanzit Corrugated Box Company and clerical work for Sears. She was the widow of John R. Michon, and was married to the late Roy Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Geno Esi. Jean had been an active member of the Grant County Home Extension Club, the Prattsville Garden Club and attended Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by step-children, Dexel Levin of Saddle River New Jersey, and Rex Reynolds of Benton; cousins, Lori Pelligrini of Citrus Heights, California, Willie Pelligrini of Santa Clara, California, and Gary Landi of Phoenix, Arizona; special friends, Dora Freeman of Salina, Kansas, Sandy Choat of Little Rock; niece, Charlotte Shoptaw of Prattsville.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Buie Funeral Chapel with Brother Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
