Janis Gail Feathers

Janis Gail Feathers, age 73, of Hensley went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 29, 2021. She was born December 23, 1947 in North Little Rock to the late Louis Sylvester Ouzts and Ruby Ouzts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Louis Ouzts, Ruby Buroski, Billie Jean McCoig, and Louise Shoemaker. In her early career she worked for Dillard’s Department Store and most recently she worked for Bass Pro, where she enjoyed helping customers. She also enjoyed working puzzles, fishing and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Clyde Donald Feathers, her two sons, Donald Louis Feathers and his wife Veronica, Keith Feathers and his wife Moneica, her grandchildren, Chris, Cory, Katie, Kyle, Ryan, Samantha, Jessie, and Christopher Feathers, 15 great-grandchildren, siblings, Wilma Womack, Bessie Aunspaugh, Willie Mae James, Sandy Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
