Janice Marie New, 64, of Judsonia, passed away December 11, 2017 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born January 3, 1953 at Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Herman and Juanita Marie Brackenridge Rigsby.
She was a member of The Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe. She was a generous loving person who never met a stranger. She was a certified nurses assistant and loved to garden in her past-time.
She married Sion New June 8, 1998 at Searcy, Arkansas; he survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Tina Marie Anderson of Searcy; three grandchildren, Rachael Marie Stith (Jaron) of Judsonia, Misty Dawn Anderson of Searcy and Nathan James Anderson of Searcy; three great grandchildren, Aria Marie Stith, Melody Gail Stith, and Harmony Easter Rose Stith; four brothers, Rayford Rigsby, Harlen Rigsby, Jimmy Rigsby, and Danny Rigsby; four sisters, Debbie Boone, Gail Martin, Joyce Berry, and Susie Smith; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
