Janice Faye Welch Hollingshead

Janice Faye Welch Hollingshead, 53, of Sheridan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at her home. She was born August 1, 1961, in Malvern, Arkansas, to John and Faye Paty Welch. She graduated from Sheridan High School. Janice was married to David Hollingshead for 19 years, who was the love of her life. She was a stay at home wife and mother. Janice surrendered her life to the Lord at the age of 10. She was a faithful member of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the church pianist. She loved taking care of her family and home. She read her bible every day, several times from cover to cover. Her hobbies were playing the piano, reading her bible, writing her pen pals and sharing with her grandchildren. Janice loved every body, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, John and Faye Welch of Sheridan; daughters, Tasha Hollingshead (Austin) Cothern of Sheridan and Andrea Hollingshead (Randy, Jr. ) Lott of Sheridan; and a sister, Mellonie Welch (David) Fuell of Prattsville; grandchildren, Jordan and Colby Morehead, Jonathan Lott, and Draco and Christian McDonald. Funeral services will be Monday, February 9, 2015, 2:00 PM, in the Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will follow in Ephesus Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
