Janet Marie George Kell

Janet Marie George Kell, age 47, of Sheridan passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born August 16, 1968 in Stuttgart, the daughter of Jack P. George and Marie A. Ward Jarreau. She attended grade school at Marvell Academy in Marvell, Arkansas. Janet also attended school in Florida, South Carolina and Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and attended Southeast Arkansas Vocational-Technical College in Pine Bluff. She was a Scout Master when her children were young. Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Justin Kell, Sr.

She is survived by her parents, Jack P. George of Sheridan and Marie A. Ward Jarreau of Livingston, Louisiana; second mother, Charlotte Allen of Sheridan; step-father, Earl Jarreau of Livingston, Louisiana; sons, Danny Ray Watkins and wife, Ashley and Justin “J.J.” Kell, Jr., both of Sheridan; daughter, Jackie Marie Baty of Mount Sterling, Kentucky; brother, Jack Steven George and wife, Leilani of Livingston, Louisiana; four grandchildren, one nephew, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and her first husband, the father of her two oldest children, and best friend, Danny Ray Watkins, Sr.

Graveside services are 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Valley Grove Cemetery in Holly Grove with Brother Bert Thomas officiating. Pallbearers are Larry Don Pruitt, Jeff George, Powell George, Dale Singleton, Troy Singleton, Randy Papa, Mike Papa, and Jared George. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
