Janet Barker Huddleston

Janet Barker Huddleston age 74 of the Macedonia Community near New Edinburg, died Sunday, April 25, 2010. She was born April 4, 1936 in New Edinburg, a daughter of the late U. S. Dale and Lydia Bell Thompson Barker. Mrs. Huddleston was a 1954 graduate of New Edinburg High School. She married James Aubrey Huddleston on January 10, 1955. Mrs. Huddleston was a former cafeteria supervisor at New Edinburg Public School, a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Grady Barker; a sister, Barbara Ann Martin.

Mrs. Huddleston is survived by her husband, Aubrey Huddleston; three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Steven Huddleston and Melinda, Barry Keenan Huddleston and Regina, all of the Macedonia Community, Marty Kevin Huddleston and Teresa of Woodlawn; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Lee Barker and Elizabeth of Wills Point, Texas; five grandchildren and their spouses, Starla Michels and Joachim, Brent Huddleston and Heather, Shana Huddleston, Sara Huddleston, and Chelsi Huddleston; five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April, 27, 2010 at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Billy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Reaves Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Reaves Cemetery Association, c/o Aubrey Huddleston, 470 Huddleston Road, New Edinburg, Arkansas 71660. Pallbearers are Mark Weeks, Kenny Hensley, Michael Hensley, Delbert Moring, Tommy Green, and Johnny Green. Honorary pallbearers are Herbert Moring and John L. McClellan.
