James Ray Thompson

August 9, 1944 — January 1, 2015

James “Jim” Ray Thompson, 70, of Judsonia, passed away January 1, 2015 at White County Medical Center.  Mr. Thompson was a self-employed welder and mechanic as well as all around handy-man.
On June 16, 1980 he married Joyce Olney Thompson at West Palm Beach, Florida, she survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Mildred Johnson Huggins; three sons, Bennie A. Thompson of Judsonia, Jarrod Baker (Lonnie) of Fargo, ND, and Jason Baker of Sallisaw, Okla; two brothers, Steve Huggins and Tim Huggins (Erin) both of Judsonia; two sisters, Rhonda Rook (Dan) of Cabot, and Jane Frietag (Dan) of West Salem, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Donna, of Las Vegas, NV. ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Thompson; step-father, L.D. Huggins; and son James Robert Thompson.
