James Edward “Jimmy” Pettypool

James Edward "Jimmy" Pettypool, born on July 30, 1948, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, in Griffithville, Arkansas.

James is survived by his two children, Christina Ann Pettypool and Michelle Lynette Pettypool; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his two brothers, Donny (and wife Donna) and Ronnie (and wife Monaica); 8 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and his partner in life Sandra Barron.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Edward; mother, Betty Ruth; and brother Billy Wayne (and wife Phyllis) and 3 nephews.

James will be remembered as a kindhearted, caring, loyal, generous, and loving man. He found joy in hunting and fishing and cherished reading his Bible. Known for his unwavering willingness to help others at any time, James touched the lives of many with his positivity and selflessness.

May God hold him close and grant him eternal rest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James will be cremated and memorialized by his close friends and family as a later date.
