James Nathan Buerer, 77, of Vilonia, AR, passed away on May 26, 2021. Nathan was born in Needles, CA, on July 5, 1943, to the late Rev. James Douglas Buerer and Margaret Jane Finfrock Buerer of Greenville, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Harry W. Buerer and Pearl Northrup Buerer; Dr. Ralph Finfrock, and Edith Ward Finfrock.
He is survived by Barbara Acklin Buerer, mother of his children, two children, James Douglas Buerer, II and wife Tracie, Robbin Lynn Buerer Gillham and husband Dr. Ed Gillham; six grandchildren, Evan Buerer and wife Kacey, Abby Gillham Perry and husband Daniel Perry, Mason Buerer and wife Tori, Nicholas Gillham, Beth Kinney Roper and husband Joey, T.J. Kinney and wife Brittany; eight great-grandchildren, Aubree, Ellie and Lucas Buerer, Lexi Cuslidge, Scarlett Roper, Emma Parker, Melanie Parker, Addison Kinney. He is also survived by six brothers and sisters, Ruth Buerer, Virginia Hyde, husband Wally, Rev. John Buerer and wife Ann, Rev. Steven D. Buerer and wife Mary, Joyce Leggett and husband Jim, Ken Buerer and wife Jeanne.
Nathan was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church. He has been a General Contractor in South Carolina and Arkansas.
A graveside service will be held for family and friends at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Oakland Cemetry, Holland, Arkansas, with Pastor Steven D. Buerer officiating.
