James Crowder

James Mack Crowder, 88 of Sheridan, AR passed away June 30, 2022 at his home.  He was born December 16, 1933 at Ivy, AR to the late Marvin and Drucilla Johnson Crowder.  Mr. Crowder was a Deacon at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan.  He also was an avid hunter and retired from Entergy after 38 years of service as an Engineer Inspector.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Don Crowder and a sister, Alice Ruth Dial and son in law, Gary Plemmons.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Kimmer Crowder of Sheridan, whom he married on April 23, 1955 as well as his daughter, Karen Crowder of Malvern, grandson, Ethan Plemmons, of Los Angeles, CA, and niece Patrice Mitchell (Bill) of Pine Bluff.

Per his request, there will be no services.
