James E Crosby

James E. Crosby, age 79, of Kingsland, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. He was born January 25, 1935 in Kingsland to the late Florence Gage Hughes. Mr. Crosby was a 1953 graduate of Kingsland High School and a Baptist. For many years, Mr. Crosby worked for Alcatel cable manufacturing plant of Fordyce where he served as union president. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and a member of the American Legion. Later, he retired as Kingsland City Marshal at the age of seventy. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Lee Crosby; step-father, Ila Hughes; sister, Barbara Neal and brother in law, Paul Neal. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Graham Crosby of Kingsland, whom he married September 27, 1975 and nephews, Mike Neal and Tony Neal.
