James "Boe" Edward Cotton

James “Boe” Edward Cotton, age 79, of Sheridan passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant. He was born July 21, 1937 in Sheridan, the son of the late Monroe Jordan Cotton and Jessey Berry Cotton. Mr. Cotton was a 1957 Sheridan High School graduate. He was a loving, strong gentleman. Mr. Cotton is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jimmie Dale Benson Cotton; and son, Daron Cotton.

Left to cherish his memory, sons, Kenneth Cotton and his wife, Jana and “Scooter” Troy Cotton and his wife, Deborah, both of Sheridan; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Brother Daniel Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Rhodes Cemetery in Sheridan. Pallbearers are Buddy, Keith, Clifton, Darrel, Nathan, James, and Chris. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
