James D. Cash

James Jim Cash, age 62 of Rison, died, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his home. He was born November 27, 1948 in Rison a son of Dewey Cash and the late Billie Jean Terry Cash. Mr. Cash was a graduate of Rison High School. He was a car inspector for the Union Pacific Railroad and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Cash enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Cash.

Mr. Cash is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Shannan Cash; father, Dewey Cash; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Peggy Cash; sister, Donna Cash; two grandchildren, Ragan Cash and Gage Cash, all of Rison.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Sandra Clearley, Bobby Gee, Brian Skinder, Keith Grice, Justin Clements, Jerry Mac Gavin, Ronnie Carter, Benny Hogue, Kenny Riley and Eddie Raspberry. Honorary pallbearers are Union Pacific Railroad employees. Memorials may be made to the Donors charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
