James Carroll Crowder of North Little Rock, passed away on November 02, 2022, six days before his 89th birthday.

James was born on November 8, 1933, in Clarksville, Arkansas to Walter William and Lois Dovie Crowder. He was a veteran in the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for General Motors as an automobile mechanic and service manager. He enjoyed building sprint cars and other race cars, and enjoyed going to the Nascar races.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Perry Crowder and wife, D'anne of North Little Rock; Doug Crowder and wife, Judy of Cabot; Annie Maddox and husband, Darrell of El Paso, Arkansas; Cliff Crowder of El Paso, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Amanda; John; Sarah; Blake; Eric; Emily; Josiah; seven great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lois Crowder and his brothers, Charles and Lawrence.

A memorial service with military honors will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120. The funeral party will meet near the gas pumps at the Wal-Mart parking lot on the corner of Maryland and Hwy. 107 at 11:40 pm to process to the cemetery together.
