James Aubrey Turner

James "Jimmy" Aubrey Turner, age 66, of Rison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home. He was born July 29, 1948 in Fayetteville, a son of the late Aubrey Leon Turner and Helen Marie Culpepper Turner. Mr. Turner was a Methodist and served the Army National Guard for thirteen years. Jimmy was a retired truck driver after 27 years on the road and a member of the OOIDA. He was a 1966 graduate of Rison High School. Mr. Turner loved all animals but especially his dogs and chickens. In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner is preceded in by one daughter, Holly Lyn Turner; paternal grandparents, G. W. and Ollie Turner and maternal grandparents, C. D. and Nova Culpepper. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Patsy Lloyd Turner of Rison, whom he married June 1, 1968; his three dogs whom he thought of as his children, Sam, Rambo and Tazz; one brother Jeffery Turner of Rison; one sister, Janet Jean Smalley of Long Beach, California and a whole host of friends that he held so dear.
