James Ahillen

James Ahillen, age 79, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away on September 4, 2024.

James dedicated his career to Share Corporation, where he made significant contributions and was known for his professionalism and dedication. His work impacted many, and his legacy within the company will be remembered for years to come.

Before embarking on his professional journey, James proudly served in the Navy, where he developed a strong sense of duty and discipline that he carried throughout his life.

James is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Ahillen, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. He was a beloved father to Sarah Ahillen (PJ Guthrie), Rebekah Ahillen (Stephen Davis), and Jared Ahillen, and Kelley Evenson of Billings, Montatna.  He was also a proud grandfather to Matthew Ahillen, Brylee Ahillen,  Madilyn Ahillen, Karla Wilburn, and Britanna Wilburn.  He is also survived by his brother Bill Ahillen (Kathy) of Inverness, Illinois, and his sister Maureen Zupanec (Kevin) of Lee Summit, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William George and Helen Masterson Ahillen, and his sons, Christopher Ahillen Reardon and James David Ahillen.

Outside of his professional life, James enjoyed watching sports, especially the Razorbacks, Cardinals, and Chiefs. He was also passionate about fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with family. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and generosity, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on September 8, 2024, at 2 pm, followed by a service at 3 pm, at Cole Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 Wilbur D Mills Avenue, Kensett, AR. 72082.
