Jackie Edwards

Jackie Edwards age 62 of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on March 3, 1947 in Pine Bluff, a son of Mary Ellen Moore Smith and the late Elmer Eugene Edwards. Mr. Edwards was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his mother, Mary Smith of Pine Bluff; one son, Ryan Parker Edwards of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two daughters, Kim Lyles, Shannon DeWitt both of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Stephen Edwards of Van Buren, DeWayne Benson of Springfield, Missouri, James Owen of Rison; two sisters, Barbara Deveny of Dallas, Texas, Glenda Bocksnick of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, John Michael Forrest, Parker DeWitt, Piper DeWitt and Emerson Edwards; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison with Brother Gene Triplett officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to service. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870)325-6216.
