Jackie Edward Bowlin

Jackie Edward Bowlin, age 85, of Rison went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born October 6, 1935 in Rison to the late John Sanford Bowlin and Myrtle Kimbrell Bowlin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Allen Bowlin, J.D. Bowlin, Billy Bert Bowlin, Cicero Bowlin, Maxine Akines, Hazel Vincent, Lucy Kimbrell, Bessie Hudson, and Fannie Bowlin. Uncle Jack was a faithful member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed softball and was an avid Arkansas Razorback

Fan.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Bowlin, children, Sandy Helton and her husband Donald of White Hall, Jerry Bowlin of Rison, Kristie McCurley and her husband Bobby of Sheridan, and one sister Ola Ethridge of Tennessee.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Brian Roberts and Bro. David Leopard officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church or New Hope Cemetery.
