Jack Preston George

Jack Preston George, age 81, of Sheridan, passed away on July 7, 2021. He was born August 21, 1939 to Jack Pink George and Zulieme Poole George. He was a United States Army veteran and a retired farmer and insurance salesman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Janet George Kell, one sister, June Papa, and two brothers, Perry George and Joe George.

He is survived by the love of his life Charlotte Allen, one son, “Jack” Steven George, five brothers, Pat, Jerry, Jimmy, Jeff and Powell George, four grandchildren, Jared George, Danny Watkins, Jackie Baty, and J.J. Kell and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Macedonia Cemetery in Holly Grove, AR.
