Imogene Fultz

Imogene Fultz age 78 of Rison, passed on to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2009. Imogene was a loving wife of fifty seven years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who happily devoted her life to husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchild and the Lord. She was born on November 17, 1930 in the Herbine Community, the only daughter of Ben Wheeler Davis and Claudie Mae Ashcraft Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Pete Davis, James Davis and Royce Davis. Imogenes humble beginnings and faith forged the foundation for an incredibly successful life. She was a pillar of the community and the anchor rock of her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Imogene is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Delmar Fultz; daughter, Deborah Jean Fultz of Rison; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Debbie Fultz of Sharpsburg, Jimmy and Belinda Fultz of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Krystle Yanney, Averyanna Fultz, Wheeler Fultz; one great grandchild, Layla Yanney; one brother, Kenneth Davis of Herbine and numerous family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at Imogenes church, Rison Baptist, with Brother Wade Totty officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 North University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
