Howard Rhodes

Howard Rhodes, age 74 of the "Y" Community near Rison, died, Friday, January 27, 2012. He was born September 18, 1937 in the "Y" Community, a son of the late Boyd Mart Rhodes and Lizzie Harvey Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes retired from Rhodes Upholstery. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Rhodes; one brother, Rolf Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Dianna Rhodes of the "Y" Community; three daughters and son-in-law, Toni Rhodes of the "Y" Community, Anna Beth Rhodes of Irmo, South Carolina, Julia Salina and James Macdougall of Lexington, South Carolina; three brothers, Gene Rhodes, Trenton Rhodes, and Randy Rhodes, all of Rison; seven grandchildren, Madeleine Rhodes, Kassie Rhodes, Dakota Rhodes, Bill Rhodes, Natalie Rhodes, Holly Macdougall and Conner Macdougall. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Wilson Cemetery with Brother Glenn Hicks officiating. Pallbearers are Butch Butcher, Lonnie Standridge, Warren Rhodes, Rusty Rhodes, Brian Rhodes and Shane Rhodes. Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
