Homer Gene Baker

Homer Baker, 86, of Kensett, passed away February 19, 2017 at Unity Health Hospital in Searcy.  He was born August 2, 1930 at Georgetown.
Mr. Baker was an active man all his life, serving in the U.S. Army and Navy, driving a truck, and lastly attending the police academy in Camden and serving as a Constable for the Kensett Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, one brother, and two sisters.
He married Bonnie Taylor Baker November 26, 1994 at West Point; she survives.  He is also survived by nine children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.  Following services, the family will gather at White River in Georgetown to scatter the ashes.
