Hollis Wayne Shultz, age 86, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born September 5, 1935 in Grapevine, Arkansas to the late Hollis Herman Shultz and Elise Hedden Shultz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Elmer Shultz and his sister Willie Bonita Harbor. Mr. Shultz was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a retired crop duster.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Beverly Shultz, his children, Melinda Evans and her husband Bill of Anchorage, Alaska, Thomas Wayne Shultz, Jon Wayne Shultz and his wife Amy of Hot Springs, a sister-in-law Betty Lou Shultz, grandchildren, Jason Shultz, Carson Evans, Dylan Evans, Jackson Evans, Weston Shultz, a niece Bennie Shultz, a nephew Kenny Shultz, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Wright, Glen Wright, Mickey Wood, Danny Wood, Jeff Hedden and Rick Meyers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Shultz, Dustin Wood, Justin Wood and the staff of the Lake Hamilton Band Program.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Grapevine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
