Herman D Taylor

Herman Dranan Taylor, age 70 of Georgetown, passed away at his home on October 22, 2022.  He was born November 1, 1951 in Georgetown, AR to the late William (Bue) Taylor and Cleda Belle (Overstreet) Taylor.

Herman never met a stranger.  He loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids, fishing and hunting, playing music, gardening, tinkering with old stuff, attending and preaching at tent revivals, and just sitting around telling stories.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Hipp and his brothers, Claude Lynn Taylor and Arnold Taylor.

He is survived by his children, Seth Mobley (Misty), Shawn Mobley (Mandy) and Sara Zinck (Nathan), grandchildren, Braiden Wortham, Lillian Mobley, Lucas Mobley, Nora Jean Mobley, Elijah Mobley, Caroline Mobley, Samuel Zinck and Elizabeth Zinck, Sisters, Bonnie Bell, Odessa Leehy (Don), and one brother, Jake Taylor (Denise).

A memorial service will be held at New Horizons church in Kensett, AR on Saturday October 29th at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Herman’s name to the New Horizon’s Food Bank, where he frequently volunteered.
