Herb Hankins

Herb Hankins, age 67, of Sheridan passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 at his home. He was born March 17, 1941 in Altheimer to the late Herbert Franklin and Florene Todd Hankins. Mr Hankins was self employed and retired as an automobile salesman. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Carolyn Hankins.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Monica Hankins of Gravel Ridge; his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and James Grant of Grapevine; sister, Mary Catherine Hankins of Rison; three grandchildren, Zachary Taylor Grant of Grapevine, James and Alex Christman, both of Gravel Ridge.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Shell Cemetery in Grapevine with Reverend Al Michael officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
