Henriette Moore, age 68 of Prattsville, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born March 9, 1942 in Prattsville, Arkansas to the late Henry Laster and Roxie Binnings Elrod. She graduated from Prattsville High School and on March 11, 1960, she married Roe Moore in Prattsville. Mrs. Moore worked 38 years for Southwestern Bell in Little Rock until she retired in 1998. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by four sisters, Faye Stuckey, Nina Crutchfield, Evelyn Pool and Remagene Holiman.
She is survived by her husband, Roe Moore of Prattsville; daughter and son in law, Melody and Michael Shoptaw of Benton; two grandchildren, C.J. Armstrong of Bryant, Larkin Armstrong of Benton; great grandchild, Dakotah Armstrong; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Janette and Bo Phillips of Malvern, Jewelldean Wynne of Sheridan, Gearline and Reverend M.L. Moser of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Don Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Harold Holiman, Ronald Holiman, Phillip Holiman, Freddie Sullivant, Joe Criglow and Robert Mooney. Honorary pallbearer is Harvey Blakely.
