Helynn Frances Beasley

Helynn Frances Beasley, 82, of Puyallup Washington, formerly of Sheridan, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at her home. She was born August 19, 1926 in Conway, a daughter of the late Thomas Taylor and O.D and Lochie Gantz Mathews. Mrs. Beasley attended Cane Creek School and was a graduate of Jacksonville High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Chicot Trace Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Beasley was a long time member of Bethel United Methodist Church in the Ico community near Sheridan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 59 years, Major Jack Beasley.

Survivors include three sons, daughter, two brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Jack and Susan Beasley and their son Jon Luke Beasley; Gary and Joanna Beasley and their daughter Veronica and Ryan Burke, their sons, Hudson and Nolan Beasley; Brian and Jo Beasley and their daughter Hope and Chris Closser, sons, Jeremy and Collin Closser; son, Matthew Beasley; Shirley Tinney.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Reverend Albert Marlar officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel North Cemetery in the Ico community near Sheridan. Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2008 from 12:00 noon until service time at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
