Harvey Lee Williams

July 22, 1937 — September 26, 2020

Bald Knob

Harvey Lee Williams, 83, of Bald Knob, formally of Gustine, California passed away peacefully September 26, 2020.  He was born July 21, 1937 to the late Ira and Naomi McKay Williams at Howe, Oklahoma.  He spent over forty beautiful years with his wife, Judy Williams.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Harvey Jr.; seven siblings; and one grandson, Nathan.
Harvey proudly served his country in the United States Air Force; honorably discharged after 6 years of service. He then worked as a mechanic on harvesting equipment in Gustine, California for Gustine Harvesting Company.  This was supposed to be his retirement; however, he moved to Arkansas and worked for the U S Postal system with his good friend, James Barnes.  They had been childhood friends and became reconnected when Harvey moved back to Arkansas.  They shared many fun stories and laughter.  Harvey loved to travel and camp with the family.  He enjoyed his country music and could set his watch to when Gunsmoke would be on TV.  His great sense of humor, laid back attitude and presence in his recliner will be greatly missed…and finally the remote control will be on the coffee table and not in the side of the chair.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Morrison Williams of Bald Knob; daughter, Sabrina Butler and husband Gene of Searcy; son, Alfred Williams and wife Emily of Hanson, Kentucky; grandchildren, William and Amber Schuurman, Tyler, Tara, Max, and Mason Williams.  Harvey is also survived by two sons, Steve Williams, and Danny Williams; daughter Darla Williams; several more grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Services will be announced at a later date; the family will decide and inform other family and friends via internet contact.
