Harvey Robert Sterling, 73, of Bald Knob, passed away September 20, 2018. He was born February 6, 1945, to Henry Preston Sterling and Rosie Lou (Osborn) Sterling, who preceded him in death, along with five brothers; Raymond, Dale, Earl, Charles, Olis, and one sister, Christine. He is survived by four brothers, Leon (Bradford), Clyde (South Fulton, KY), Veston (Searcy), Wincle (Memphis TN), three sisters; Geneva Stanley (Ronald, Salem, IL), Orene James (Glenn, Bald Knob), and Revon Thompson (Jesse, Judsonia) and many nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved. Harvey was a 1965 graduate of Bald Knob High School where he played on the Bulldog football team. He lived and worked for many years in Kokomo, Indiana, at Cuneo Press and as a bricklayer, before moving to Texas to work in farming and the oil industry. He moved back to Arkansas and worked for Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Searcy until retirement. He was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church in Judsonia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25 from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow services.
