Harvey Dean Massey

Harvey Dean Massey, age 63 of Grapevine, Arkansas died Saturday June 18, 2011. He was born July 27, 1947 in Reno Nevada to the late Everett Leslie and Opal Virgina Massey. Harvey was a member of Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church, Grapevine, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Grapevine High School, a United States Marine Corp Veteran, serving in Vietnam, and a retired welder from the Pine Bluff Arsenal. Harvey loved deer hunting and was a member of Taylor Ray Deer Camp. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Vicki. He is survived by the love of his life Sandy Harrison of Grapevine; three sons, Everett Dean of Russellville; Jonathan (Jo) of Heber Springs; Eric (Adrienne) of Grapevine; one daughter Ashley Massey-Dehart of Grapevine; Stepmother Geneva Massey; sister Mary Ann; six grandchildren, Isaac, Jordan, Jacob, Ian, Levi, and Brylee; special friends Jake, Kerry, and Stephanie Lilly of Pine Bluff and Arnold Weaver of Kentucky. Also survived by many extended family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Davis Cemetery near Grapevine, Arkansas with Bro. Rusty Womble officiating.
