Harold Lee Smith

Harold Lee Smith, 65 of Searcy, passed away March 30, 2020, at Searcy Healthcare Center.  He was born August 29, 1954 at Searcy, Arkansas.  Harold was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a graduate of Searcy High School.
Harold is preceded in death by his father, Leon Smith Sr.; two brothers; and one sister.
Harold enjoyed playing and listening to music and doing handyman work for his family and others.
He is survived by his mother, Edith March Chatman Smith; daughters, Marissa Smith and Akasha Johnson of Searcy; two grandchildren, Akya and Tylor Johnson; one brother, Leon Smith, Jr. of Marion; one niece Erica Parker; and two nephews, William Smith and Leon Smith, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the pandemic event and the strict guidelines for funerals, the tough decision has been made to have a private service for immediate family only. However, we are deeply sadden that those family members and others who wanted to pay their respects, have closure, and say farewell will not get the opportunity to do so. Our prayer for you is that God grants you strength, peace, and comfort today and the days ahead. “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 KJV
