Harold Eddies Owers passed away peacefully on February 19, 2018 at his home in New Blaine, Arkansas at the age of 78. Harold was born on October 27, 1939 in Hornbeck, Louisiana to Eddies Archibald and Willie Mae (Harkins) Owers. He retired from Mobil Oil as a supervisor and two years ago, retired from Southwestern Energy as an Oil Field Consultant. He loved antiquing, and was known for being a very good cook. Harold is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sarah Ann Owers of the home; Melody Muller (Brad) of Tampa, Florida; Molly Myers (Larry) of League City, Texas; Matthew Owers (Crystal) of Tampa, Florida; Kane Carpenter of Austin, Texas; Cory Carpenter (Joan) of Berlin, Maryland; Kyle Carpenter (Sara) of Boise, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Ila Owers of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Catherine Welch; Charlotte Ryder (Eugene); Rita Terro (Weldon, Sr.); Nita Vincent (Gene); Madeline Overland; two brothers, Howard Owers (Frances); Ralph Owers (Juanice); twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Randall Owers; son, Peter Owers; two grandchildren Shay Whitman and Walt Lemaire. The family will hold a private burial, and a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
