Gloria Ann Crenshaw Burger Seagraves

Gloria Ann Crenshaw Burger Seagraves passed away at home in Mount, Vernon, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on January 29, 1940 at home in Royse City, Texas to the late John Howell Crenshaw and Georgia Marie Gay.

She was preceded in death by her late husband of 30 years, Hugh Lamar Seagraves, the love of her life. He showered her with love and protection. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, John Kelly Burger.

She is survived by a brother, Wesley Crenshaw (Patsy), whom resides in Forney, Texas and four sons. Gloria’s four Boy was the apple of her eye, Darrell Wayne (Kim), residing in Forney, Texas , Gregory Layne (Tonna) residing in Mount Vernon, Arkansas, John Glen (Kimberly) residing in Mayflower, Arkansas,  James William (Mindy) residing in Midland, Texas.

There was only one person on earth that could handle and raise her four boys and teaching them how to be the gentlemen that they are and the most important thing in life and that’s love and faith they all four have and that’s JESUS CHRIST our LORD and Gloria achieved that with a loving heart, and she showed everyone that came near to her.

In November 2008, Gloria had a massive stroke and following that and becoming a widow, her boys, moved her to Mount Vernon, Arkansas, to be closer to them to care for her, although it only took her to raise her four boys, it took all of them and their wives to meet her needs, and when she went to be with Jesus, she was at home surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vilonia Funeral Home in Vilonia, Arkansas . A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Cemetery in Enola, Arkansas.
