Gloria Ann (Medler) Keel
February 1, 1955 — January 12, 2017
Gloria Ann Medler Keel, 61, of Searcy, passed from this life January 12, 2017 at Oakdale Nursing Home in the presence of her family. She was born February 1, 1955 at West Point to the late Raleigh and Nettie Phelps Medler.
She was a graduate of Kensett High School and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Junior Medler; and her husband William “Bill” Keel.
She is survived by three sons, Bobby Ray Rice of Little Rock, Jacob R. Medler (Jeanette) of Higginson, and Jesse Medler of West Point; daughter, Leeann Rice of Searcy; granddaughter, Ashlynn Medler of Higginson; five brothers, Freddie Medler (Lois) of Lebanaon, Ill., Kenneth Medler (Nancy) of Judsonia, Billy Medler (Cheryl) of Searcy, Bobby Medler of Searcy, and Pete Medler (Betty) of Kensett; two sisters, Betty Kidd (James) of Georgetown and Ruth Moore of Albion; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 11 until 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at West Point Cemetery.
