Glendine Rauls

Glendine Rauls age 70 of Hamburg, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her home. She was born August 19, 1938 in Malvern, a daughter of the late Robert Watson James and Laferne Shoemaker Dodd. Mrs. Rauls retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission as a forest dispatcher, and was a Baptist. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother.

Mrs. Rauls is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Junior Rauls of Hamburg, who she married on April 7, 1956; seven sisters, Louise Gundlach of Enid, Oklahoma, Vecita Goss of Rochester, Indiana, Linda Zion of Lamar, Texas, Carolyn Joyce Neff of Kansas City, Missouri, Virgie Williams of Enid, Oklahoma, Sharon James of Hot Springs, and Karen Guerin of Warm Springs, Oregon.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison with Brother Keith Wesson and Brother Jim Wsinea officiating. Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. Saturday, prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Prosperity Cemetery near Rison. Pallbearers are Greg Stanley, Boots Stanley, Jerry Stanley, Larry Joe Turner, Bull Wills, Ronnie Livingston, Walter James, Glen James, David Wesson, and honorary pallbearer Mitchell Stanley.
