George Kip Reep

Kip Reep, age 55, of the Rye Community near Rison, died, Friday, December 14, 2012. He was born September 21, 1957 in Warren, a son of Rita Kimbrell Reep and the late Oscar Junior Reep. Mr. Reep was a retired welder and a Baptist. He was also preceded in death by a great nephew, Cy Reep; great niece, Gabby Jackson; nephew, Michael Nelson. Mr. Reep is survived by two sons, Alec Reep of Conway, Sam Hart of Glendale; two daughters, Katie Hart and Georgia Hart, both of Glendale; mother, Rita Reep of Rison; three brothers, Jimmie Reep and Joey Reep, both of Rye, Lamar Reep of Randal; one sister, Kathy Norton of Randal. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Hurley Ashcraft officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to service time. Pallbearers are Derrick Davidson, Mark Mercer, Troy Bryant, Billy Mercer, Charles (Tink) Gavin, and David Wooley. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Mercer, Sam Bryant, John Grider, Keith Taylor, Elvin Pruitt, Guy Taylor, Ronnie Sandine, and Dr. David Chambers.
