Frankie Reynolds Wilson

Frankie Reynolds Wilson, age 77, of the Woodlawn Community, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 31, 2013. She was born February 5, 1936 in Grapevine, a daughter of the late Gaylon and Alice Woods Reynolds. Mrs. Wilson was a graduate for Grapevine High School and Draughns School of Business. She was a retired secretary for Tyson Foods and a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson was very active in the Democratic Party. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed flowers, gardening, singing in the church choir, traveling, and loved her family. She was a very beautiful, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Howard "Bob" Wilson on May 15, 2009; one sister, Velma Gean Reynolds Lee. Mrs. Wilson is survived by five children and their spouses, Brenda and Sam Tipton of Little Rock, Donna Wilson French of Ft. Worth, Texas, Katenia and Allen Chambers of White Hall, Rob Wilson of Dallas, Texas, and Lane Wilson of New York City, New York; seven grandchildren, Troupe Bryant of Conway, Dane Reed and Justin Barr both of White Hall, John Simpson of Arlington, Texas, Erin Armstrong and Stacy Brickhouse both of Greenville, North Carolina, and Hunter Chambers of Raleigh, North Carolina; nine great grandchildren; family friend, Julian Yeo of New York City, New York. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with Brother Charles Woolley officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Allen Chambers, Troupe Bryant, Dane Reed, Justin Barr, Garrett Bryant and Ridge Bryant. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, c/o Jimmy Cole, 37 Heritage Drive, Rison, Arkansas 71665.
