Francis Lorraine Cole, 65, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed from this earth on Sunday, January 5, 2014, into the arms of her Lord and Savior. She was born November 22, 1948 in Pine Bluff, to Ann Sanderson Cole Elliot and the late Frank M. Cole. Ms. Cole was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff and Conway before moving to Warren, Arkansas in the mid to late 70's. In 1990, she moved back to Pine Bluff and lived in Chapel Pines, in the Watson Chapel area, and lived there until May 2013, before recently moving to Davis Life Care Center. She liked music, especially gospel, and loved to sing, collect dolls, and loved the outdoors. Francis always had a positive attitude, sunny disposition, and a beautiful smile that could light up a room and was a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Preceding her in death were her father; grandparents, Frank Allen Cole and Ella Hill Cole, H.I. Sanderson Sr. and Lorraine White Sanderson. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Ann Sanderson Elliot of Hot Springs; brother, John Cole of Beebe; sisters, Kathy Cole, Elizabeth (Liz) Ladd and brother-in-law, Thomas Ladd all of Pine Bluff; five nephews; and one niece that she was very fond of; Bryan Torres of Cabot , Matt and Scott Torres, Amos and Katherine Ladd all of Pine Bluff and Tony Schultz of Santa Barbara California, three nieces and three nephews of Modesto, California; two uncles, R.L. (Betty) Cole and H.I (Faye) Sanderson, all of Cleveland County; aunt, Leah Francis (Bob) Baker of Oak Grove, Missouri; several cousins; and many other loving family and friends who will miss her. Francis' family wishes to expresses gratitude with a big thank you to Kathy Murphy, Nancy Dempsey, and Chapel Pines at Watson Chapel for their loving care. The family requests memorials be made to; The American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Jenkins Memorial Center in Pine Bluff, The Arkansas Humane Society, or the Rowell Cemetery Association. Graveside services will be announced at a later date. Cremation Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
